Dear Customers

We hope this message finds you well during this period of extreme and intense heat. We looked into which is hotter - kokusho (extreme heat) or mosho (intense heat) - but could not quite find a clear answer. We have heard that some restaurants in Kyoto have even canceled their traditional summer riverside lunch service due to this year’s excessive heat. It is truly a serious situation.

In light of this, we have decided to hold an online exhibition this summer with the theme of “coolness.” We have gathered artworks that evoke a refreshing feeling, and we hope you can experience a sense of coolness, even if only through your eyes.

Additionally, we will be exhibiting at the Tobi Art Fair this October. Tickets can be reserved in advance (on the day of the event, simply give your name at the reception to claim your ticket). We trust that the heat will have eased by then. We would be delighted if you could attend.

We sincerely appreciate your continued patronage.
